Birthday Celebration!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday morning!

I started creating this card by heat embossing with Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder onto watercolor paper. I then water colored the flower image from the Lovely Lattice stamp set using Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green. To add color I chose a Whisper White card base with Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo card mats. After fussy cutting the floral image out I still felt like it needed a little additional color before adhering it to the card so I added a strip of Melon Mambo DSP to the middle of the Melon Mambo card mat along with a zig-zag of Granny Apple Green ribbon behind the floral image. I stamped the "celebrate" sentiment from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set in Melon Mambo and die cut it out using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies. To finish this card I added the Glitter Enamel Dots in Melon Mambo.

I am so excited......as this is my first blog post and I'm submitting this design to The Spot's Challenge #113 Masculine Project!

I created this card using the Best Catch stamp set and the Catch of the Day dies from Stampin' Up! I used Light Pretty Peacock, Dark Mint Macaron, Light Crumb Cake, Light Cajun Craze, Light Gray Granite, and Light Pineapple Punch Stampin' Blends to color in the stamped images. A mat of Cajun Craze is mounted to a Crumb Cake card base along with a piece of Whisper White cut with the die from Nature's Thoughts. A small piece of copper trim ribbon is mounted behind the images that are attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals to complete this card.
